Lois Nelson

Lois A. Nelson, M.D.

Dr. Lois Nelson is Clinical Professor of Medicine and Pediatrics at the University of Toledo College of Medicine and Chief of the Division of Allergy & Immunology.  She is actively involved in the training of residents and medical students.  She was honored as Teaching Allergist of the Year by the American Academy of Allergy and Immunology in 2009.  She serves as Chief, Section of Allergy & Immunology at St. Vincent/Mercy Medical Center.

Dr. Nelson is a Diplomat of the American Board of Allergy & Immunology and participates in maintenance of certification.  Dr. Nelson is a Fellow of the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma, & Immunology (member, Continuing Medical Education Committee) and of the American College of Allergy, Asthma, & Immunology.  She is a member of the Ohio State Medical Association and Ohio Allergy Society.
