M. Razi Rafeeq, M.D., FAAAAI, FACAAI
After completing his basic medical education at Osmania University in Hyderabad, India, Dr. Rafeeq received clinical training in Adult and Pediatric medicine in London, England. He then completed his residency at the Jewish Hospital and Medical Center of Brooklyn in New York, where he also served as the Pediatric Chief Resident. His two-year postgraduate fellowship in Adult and Pediatric Allergy and Clinical Immunology was completed at Wayne State University and Children's Hospital of Michigan in Detroit.
Dr. Rafeeq is Clinical Assistant Professor at the University of Toledo Medical Center and the Section Chief of Allergy and Immunology at the Mercy St. Charles Hospital in Oregon, Ohio. He has spent 25 years rotating and training residents every year through his Ohio solo private practice. For his diligent work to advance the knowledge and treatment of allergic diseases, the Joint Commission on Primary Care Rotations in Allergy honored him with the “Teaching Allergist of the Year” Award in 2002 at the American College of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology (ACAAI) annual meeting in San Antonio Texas.
Dr. Rafeeq resides in Holland, Ohio with his wife Shahida and has three children.
